ISG has been working closely with Toyota Motor Corporation Australia since 2001 in order to assist with the development and support of a wide range of applications for the Sales & Marketing, Company Fleet, Human Resources, and Finance divisions.
Initially we were involved in the project management and design of a large number of customised developed database and .Net applications for Toyota. A number of these applications involved complex web-service messaging and interfaces to both SAP R/3 and Lotus Notes applications. In 2003 we entered into a formal SLA for support of these applications and incorporated Serena IT Governance technologies to provide systems to manage the developments and provide reporting against the SLA.
A Collaborative Project Management (CPM) solution has been built for Toyota around the Serena technologies to provide visibility into current status, management of documentation, and electronic sign-off and acceptance of phase deliverables. The CPM system provides for this by enabling Toyota project managers to participate in real-time project workflow, notification, escalation, and sign-off for ISG projects.
In 2004 ISG entered into a formal SLA for support of these applications and utilised the Serena IT Governance technologies to provide reporting against the SLA. Serena technologies are used to provide a comprehensive audit trail of changes to applications, management of new projects, resourcing and reporting of all support and development projects via Mariner PPM, and management of movement of objects between technical environments.
