Serena SBM SharePoint 2010 |

ISG have recently announced the release of Serena SBM for SharePoint 2010. Serena SBM is an enterprise business process manager which enables connects to SharePoint sites to establish process control over the creation of new SharePoint sites, projects created within those sites, and documents stored within the projects. This enables organisations to establish a layer of governance that provides control and visibility to critical regulatory, compliance, and high-impact tasks / activities, linking them to associated SharePoint documents.
SBM processes can be established quickly and can be accessed by either SharePoint or SBM. Non users of the SBM workflow can also access metadata regarding the process and documents. SBM notifies workflow mangers of changes in managed documents. Information on the SharePoint connector can be found at http://www.serena.com/solutions/sharepoint/. A recent WebEx with the US Army on the SharePoint product is now available that will give you a good idea about how the US Army have deployed SBM.
